CTA SOUND PROJECT
The audio recordings presented here are meant to simulate the sound of travelling on CTA trains.
They were made by making field recordings of actual trains and then completely recreating the
sounds in a studio using synthesizers, percussion, household items and digital manipulation. |
They can be appreciated on their own as experimental audio or used with a personal listening device to create a fabricated version of the aural environment of public transit. |
